To withdraw food from the CVFB warehouse you must...
- Be a partner agency (your application must be approved and signed by the Chief Operating Officer at CVFB)
- Have attended a new members' orientation
- Site inspection and approval by a Program Coordinator
- Supporting documentation completed and on file at CVFB
- Read the Shopping Rules and Regulations

Thanksgiving - Close at noon Wednesday November 26 and closed Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28
Christmas - Close at noon Wednesday, December 24 and closed Thursday, December 25 and Friday, December 26

Shopping Rules and Regulations
- Shoppers must present their shopper authorization card to withdraw products from the CVFB warehouse. The card will be returned to the shopper after check out with the cashier.
- Children under 12 years of age are not allowed in the CVFB warehouse while you are shopping. Unattended children cannot be left in your vehicle for any reason. Occasionally, children younger than 12 may be allowed to volunteer via coordination with the Community Resource Manager.
- Only one shopper and one helper from the Network Partner are authorized to be in the CVFB warehouse at the same time. The helper must stay with the authorized shopper at all times.
- CVFB ask that all representatives of our Network Partners dress in an appropriate manner during your visit to the CVFB warehouse
- Network Partners are required to keep records of all clients receiving donated foodbank food, as well as those receiving USDA commodities.
- Restricted areas of the warehouse and workrooms are never to be entered by shoppers unless accompanied by a member of the CVFB staff.
- Shoppers may not open packages or cases or pull product from overhead racks. If assistance is needed, shopper should ask a CVFB staff member for help.
- Shoppers can use one cart or basket. It is the responsiblity of the shopper to monitor their cart/basket at all times.
- Shoppers are required to pre-sort their withdrawals into appropriate categories (based on the Shopping Form) before weighing out. Select your food carefully; no returns will be accepted.
- Shoppers must have their food weighed and pay the cashier before starting to load their vehicles. Shoppers will be given an invoice copy as their receipt. All invoices must be kept on site for the current fiscal year and all other Foodbank records for 3 years.
- Shoppers are responsible for checking their receipt for accuracy against their order. We can and will make any corrections to the order only while the shoppers are still on the premises.
- Shoppers must park in the rear parking lot while shopping. Only vehicles being loaded are to be parked at the loading dock. Unattended vehicles are never premitted in the load area.
I understand that if I violate any of these rules, my agency/church will be notified in writing and my shopping privileges my be suspended.
